I’m having vanilla coke right now but for Rick and Morty I’m going to fix something of my own invention - 3 parts rye whiskey (bulliet rye tonight), 1 part of Licor 43, 2 dashes of aromatic bitters, and a light addition of agave nectar. Mixed in a shaker with ice and strained and poured over a cube of ice in a lowball glass. Think of it as a non-scotch take on a rusty nail with a bit of added sweetness.

I call it a “Horse with no name”. Cause it’ll get you through any desert that life throws at you.

Finnriver (local western Washington cidery) Blackcurrant cider. I’m not usually a cider guy, but this stuff is dryer and more complex (because of the blackcurrants) than your usual hard cider.
